Nacrtaj mi nebo,
ali ne ovo što visi iznad glava.
Daj mi nebo što nema ime,
ni boju što se pamti.
Daj mi boju
koju nikad nisam osetio u grudima,
koja ne liči ni na krv, ni na more,
ni na senku sna.
Misliš da tražim previše.
A ja samo tražim ono najprostije:
da vidiš kako srce gleda,
i kako um crta,
kad ruke miruju,
a oči ćute.
Ne treba mi svetlost.
Ne treba mi platno.
Samo nebo koje još nije bilo,
i ruka koja ga zna.

Draw Me a Sky
Draw me a sky,
but not the one that hangs above our heads.
Give me a sky with no name,
no color the memory can hold.
Give me a color
I’ve never felt in my chest,
one that’s nothing like blood, or sea,
or the shadow of a dream.
You think I’m asking too much.
But all I want is the simplest thing:
for you to see the way the heart sees,
and how the mind draws,
when hands are still
and eyes stay quiet.
I don’t need light.
I don’t need canvas.
Just a sky that’s never been,
and a hand that knows it.
